When severe storms strike, our Catastrophe Response (CAT) adjusters will do whatever it takes to ensure that you receive the claim service that you have come to expect from GEICO. Sometimes, this is simply a matter of extending hours at our claim inspection sites. For extremely severe storms, our CAT teams stay in the field until they take care of every affected GEICO customer.
Each year all over the country, communities face severe weather events from hail storms to hurricanes. When bad weather hits, GEICO's teams of auto damage adjusters are ready to help you get back on the road quickly. In the event of a severe catastrophe, our CAT Team will stay on the scene until each and every GEICO customer's claim is handled.
In the event of a predicted storm, take the proper steps to prepare yourself, your loved ones, your home and your vehicles from the storm. Follow all instructions from your local authorities regarding evacuation or other safety procedures.
While not every severe weather event may be classified as a 'catastrophe,' you can be certain that GEICO's auto damage adjusters and claims representatives will be there to help you each step of the way.
